A perfect day for a pairing! Thanks to a sample sent out by Jason Armstrong, maker of DivJna wine, I paired my Alec Bradley with a fabulous Lambrusco.

Just bought one yesterday to tryout tonight. Pairing it with a Maddelena Cab from San Antonio winery. BTW, trying to login to the members section of your blog, but keep getting this message:

This is a great stick from AB. It pairs well with most any red wine. I had one last night with a Malbec from Argentina and it was amazing. It’s a solid smoke that won’t overpower anything you’re drinking. Great taste and buzz to go along with it.

Why don’t blow smoke through your nose? Isn’t that what makes you taste more of the flavor?

What’s the name of the Lambrusco you’re drinking there? Thanx, Buck

Hi Delicia, looked for the Divjna here in Mesa. No luck. As an East Coast wine I doubt if their distribution is very wide at this time. Even Total Wine didn’t carry it. But I did buy a bottle of Riunite, (Always thought it was a “Chick Wine” like white Z, but it did go nicely with the “Short Story” that I had. I’ve had the Black Market a few times. It’s a great smoke, I still don’t discern the flavors that you talk about, but, I know what I like. I do taste glimpses of different flavors, but, not enough to define them. Anyway, keep doing the reviews and do more pairings and maybe you’ll make me a connoisseur out of me yet. Have a great day and enjoy a great smoke. Buck

I pair a lot of my cigars with wine too, although I tend to stick to mostly Cab Sauv, Merlot and Malbecs. Something about the soils they are grown in seems to make a nice match for the palate. I will reach out to owner of DivJna and ask about distribution in your area. ūüôā
